Description
Finally got this done...Commission for :iconblue-galewind.
His OC, Trixie has learned a new trick; to give air breathers the ability to breath underwater. She's practicin' it on 's Chantelle.
Chantelle's givin' the thumbs up, so I guess it's workin'.
I tried to give off that the magic is active with the halo around Chantelle's head.
Chantelle is (C) under
Trixie is (C) under

This is lovely. I love the colours here, they're so vibrant. I also love the detail too. I love the effects too.

This looks really awesome, bud!
You did a very beautiful job on this one! I am sure will love it too! Thank you for giving this one a whirl too!
For the record: Trixie wears a new mermaid belt that is gold based that you introduced, and I liked. So Trixie's blue mermaid belt that she usually wears is not the only one she wears! She wears 2 different ones now!

Really? Well, I'll have to keep that in mind. Heh! What a stylish gal that Trixie is for rockin' two belts.
As always, thanks for the commission... and your patience...

Yep, really! You are very welcome! x2
And this bottom part is for the deviants that commented with questions regarding this picture Sever:
Trixie is experimenting with a new kind of barrier magick that allows her to cast an invisible but magical bubble (that cannot be seen) around one's head converting actual water on impact into oxygen for the person who has the bubble around their head. While it seems like they have the water directly at their face knowing it still passes through the bubble, that person can lose all the air they want (hence the bubbles you see) while that person does not drown, and can breathe safely as if nothing happened. It's an ideal substitute for gills, but this is only for short term like a swim or perhaps a short sunken ship expedition as this magick each time that it is cast around the person's head only gives about a good 16 hours (Not a long term replacement). Each time it expires though, it needs to be reapplied if Trixie is not out of energy to do that. That is all you need to know.

I'm sure you'd live underwater if you had that ability.

I don't know if I'd live underwater - I'd still have to eat and draw and stuff. But I wouldn't mind reclining at the bottom of a pool with a good book for an hour or two!

Yup! He does.
This trick would be very handy with UW perils. Though, for some, would take away alot of the fun.

(Yeeeaaah the Tormenting Gentleman would be kinda disappointed if the beautiful girls that ended up in the UW perils could breathe underwater )

Nah! The commissioner says that the magic converts the water to air when she breathes in.
