I love playing around with my dinner!!!Well, I got a couple of goose eggs as a present and I realized how big they were, compared to normal eggs.
Photo (and fun for me) apart, let me tell you they are just great! so tasty and palatable!

Hmmm, here in the US we almost never see goose eggs, certainly not in the market. The only way I could get such a thing would be to raise geese but I'd not care to experience *that* again, thank you

They are not common in Italy too and you don't get them in supermarket! I got a couple as a present, from a friend who has a little stock-farm.
That was the first time for me to taste goose egs and I did really loved them!

I'll have to re-think the whole goose egg thing and see if I can find some. I suppose you need only one in place of 3 or 4 chicken eggs...

4 is the best one, compared to their size, BUT they taste different ... I have to warn you!
You may like them too much, to get back to "normal" eggs!!!

Hmmm, I like the taste of roast goose much more than chicken so maybe is will work out.
Oh noes! I'd hate to have to raise geese just to have the eggs. Geese are so mean; as long as you're out and about with them they're fine but as soon as you try to "leave the flock" and go back into the house they start chasing you and nipping with their beaks because they know it's much more dangerous to wander around on your own without the flock.
