Description
In the Senate of the Federal Star Republic of Bazikstan, in the third moon of Yusbeff -the federal district of Al-Hamriki-, it have been another turbulent session. But with a senate of 2266 members, it wasn't that strange, so normally the decissions where made based upon alliances, in the halls and offices of the Senate instead.
In one of these offices where was finally made the laws of the federation, there was a meeting.
"So..." said senator Hakim Al-Mufti of the National Party. "have you heard the last news?"
"Which ones?" asked Asriyah, senator of the Laborist Party -and known for representing the Bazik Cartel interests- "The last power struggles in Stornkold? The new heir of Norodor? The troubling attitudes of the aliens, that grow as a shadow that proyects further?"
"You know what I mean. Our backyard" Al-Mufti said, uncomfortable. They where meeting precisely because of this. "This whole small bordering conflict is spiraling out of control."
"Some free colonies begin a war. Big deal. That always happen, and soon the war die down. The LCP is to deal with their own breakway colonies" said Asriyah. She knew well what Al-Mufti meant, but she wasn't going to speak first.
"You know this isn't anymore some other minior colonial war" Al-Mufti said. "First of all, they attack worlds of the LCP AND the Alianza."
"As said, the LCP to deal with them."
"We know that that chaos that is the LCP only can do anything as a block, when we force them to do it" said Al-Mufti.
"What about the Alianza?"
"They get one of their colonies charred, but it seems it is now out of the war, but they aren't happy about it. Wouldn't send a fleet to our back yard without asking first thought."
"What's the problem now? We all know, this war had become some loon crusade against the corporations of the CONIN. If the CONIN bleed, is better for us" Asriyah said. She know what they where talking about, but she wanted them to said so.
"The problem is, that this business is making us look bad." said the senator and General Ahmad El-Ashem. "The devart sector, and the Goeliathian sector, is our backyard. One thing is a minor war between some colonies, and other a large size war as this one. The LCP, the Alianza and the EUS are our allies. If we can't protect our allies, our international possition is being mined."
"So what?"
"The LCP have formally requested our aid to solve this business"
"The LCP, OR the CONIN in their government?"
"Now it doesn't matter. The fact is, our allies are requesting for help, and this is our backyard. And we want an orderly backyard, or some punks will get the bad idea to challenge us: and we didn't fight the Ots War for nothing."
"And what's for us then?" asked Asiryah. With "us" she meant the Bazik Cartel. "The CONIN to bleed it's only good business for us."
"That's true" aknowledged Al-Mufti. He had as well vested interests in the Cartel -and a new war and the contracts for the federal army would fill his pockets in a even mroe gross way- "But as well we know that the CONIN isn't going down so easily. They will first drag along the war the LCP and the EUS, and when that happen we know these Goeliathian coalition wouldn't hold...
and from our spies, we know that the CONIN is already dividing the cake, that will be the Goeliathian sector. They will end this war bloodied... but they will rise in power. Something we can't left to happen."
"Aren't you forgetting something?"
"Trident? I don't forget it" said Al-Mufti. "Small fish before this whole conflict, just a corporation. This war had made them grow... and we don't want new players, mingling our business. With the CONIN at least we have some understandment, and so with the North-Nutk. But these guys aren't respecting at all the stablishment."
THAT was what interested Asriyah -and the Bazik Cartel-.
What worried mostly Al-Mufti, was the international stand of the RFB, if they didn't controlled this situation in front of their allies. The alliance of the RFB with the LCP, EUS, Alianza and the GUN hold before mostly only due the Ots war, and the Ots war had ended years ago, and the RFB didn't wanted to lose the lead of the Nebula of Ots.
But what worried General El-Ashem was something else: "When the EUS enter in the war -and will be matter of time, if the balance of the war continue against the CONIN-, the Goeliathian Sector will fall. If the Goeliathian Sector fall, and with them the Devart sector, the EUS will annex them. The expansion of the devart War to Kharazi as well meant they will advance in Kharazi, in detriment of the area of influence of the GUN and LCP. This war will give them a good possition around the RFB, and the causing tensions will make them break the alliance. If we don't act, our allies will abandone us -and the EUS will be more than willing to ally themselves one more time with the Nutks against us- and will be the Second Ots War."
"You exagerate"
"You know the EUS (and the CONIN) like the RFB (and the Bazik Cartel) as much as we like them. We can't afford the EUS to expand their influence in the Goeliathian sector. YET we can't afford the Goeliathian system to remain independent: they are a factor of unstability, and if they are succesful, while in the short will weaken the CONIN, it will mean as well a rearrangement of the LCP, maybe in direction to the Goeliathian Coalition. And an united LCP, under other banner could be problems"
"So what you suggest? a military adventure?"
"Not an adventure." said the General. "But to prepare for it for now. We have to neutralize the EUS by stepping us first. An LCP problem is a LCP problem after all, so we should use them as a proxy, but with out direct support and presence, to avoid further attacks in LCP worlds.
The presence of the LCP-RFB fleet should deter further expansion of this war, and as well, the involvement of the EUS.
Then we watch the CONIN and Goeliathian bleed each other in a contained battlefield, and only when the Goeliathian are on the brink of defeat, or the CONIN bloodied enough, we will step in to "pacificate" the Goeliathian sector."
The discussion still went by in hours, as details where spoken, but one thing was decided of it:
They couldn't afford the Goeliathian to be defeated in this war, but less, they could afford them to win and remain independent.
The Giant of Bazikstan was slowly being waked up from it's slumber
Part of the war in the devart sector.
Not only plot around there ... but for now, I will leave you guys guessing who are there, deciding the destiny of the Goeliathian Sector -and as well, of Devart-

Their smoking actually gives the feeling they're worried over something, also that guy in the middle reminds me more of Pinochet than Saddam.

If they're worried over anything it's probably the rise of a new power in Ots. That seems to make the most sense for this

The uniform looks like something a south american general would wear. Plus he looks like Shabazik. And Allianzia is south american heritage so.......

It also looks like something saddam hussein would have worn, middle eastern, and speaking of which these are all people in middle eastern uniforms and clothing. Put 2 and 2 together. Like I said. I had just completely made a wild guess, this probably isnt the Alanzia

Lol. I'm not almost defeated, far from it. There's just a conspiracy floating around in my comics and pics, yadda yadda. I do know shab is bringing Ots superpowers into the war because he's running out of allies and support and I'm assuming that's who these people are.
But nobody looks at both sides of the war to understand whats going on from both angles.. -_- so everyone assumes im being defeated
