Why do I draw more finished pieces when I shouldn't be drawing than when I have more time to draw? Well, this is very relaxing and I feel quite proud to be able to produce more art than ever. I hope the quantity doesn't go over quality, though.
I found out that is holding a calendar contest. I love the game, it's so very inspiring and I really wanted to participate. I, however, didn't really have time to create an idea for the contest so I thought I would just forget about the whole thing when I remembred I actually had an old sketch that would be perfect for the contest. I never would've thought I'd actually finish it. It's older than six months yet not a whole year. I wanted to draw my deer in a misty forest and I had already done so. The only thing left was to colour it.
I'm pretty pleased how it came out for such a fast drawing. I tried using textures for the first time.
It was very nice though the outcome is quite rough. And the trees... I'm glad trees aren't perfectly straight naturally because I can't draw straight lines without a line tool with my tablet!I might do another entry if I have time to. I love drawing TEF related art!

It's a free online game where you can play with your own deer character with other players. However, you can't communicate with other players by using words but you can communicate a bit with the by using your deer's actions. The "world" is a huge, endless forest with many nice places and beautiful landscapes. You can find different designs by trying out different actions with other players and choose for example different antlers for your deer.
Personally I think it's a very nice and inspiring game in a different way. I love the atmosphere in the forest and I love the humanoid deer as well. :heart

I can well understand why some people get bored with it. Personally I think it's the world and the atmosphere that fascinates people, at least they fascinate me. TEF is a very exceptional game because you can't interact with other players using words, that's one of the reasons I like the game. I also like to look for new pelts, horns etc. to make my deer look nice.

The perspective is really convincing. Doing any scrolling while looking at it creates a very odd optical effect.
