Splash the Otter - my first character I ever created. Sure, there's other otters out there with the generic name like Splash, but none like mine.Splash was born early December of 1992, where I created him to be the 'water' help for Sonic and Tails. lolz
He's gone through loooots of changes. Lots. I'll probably make a compiled piccie showing all his different looks, but he has always been a green otter. I don't draw him much anymore, but I still love him. This is his current look, which I'm enjoying as far as the layered fur is concerned.
Despite owning him for so long, I never could come up with a decent backstory for him. I was never good at that stuff. XD
I'd also like to mention he needs a good headgear. So if you have any suggestions, pass them my way. Do not suggest goggles or I will keel j00.

Interesting fur design.
I run a blog on tumblr by the name sonicfancharactersandredesigns(sonicfancharactersandredesigns… ), there I try to share great Sonic fan design to combat the mentality that Sonic fans only make recolors and are unoriginal. I do this because I find great designs like yours on a regular basis and I want others to know about them.
