a request byfor a sapphire blue chinese dragon
the pose background and design was left open
for me to come up with,

An interesting piece, the color complements the background as the dragon stands upon the pillar of heaven in it's accension towards the skies in which the immortals glide upon, hidden amongst the stars which glitter like that of the creature's scales when lit beneath the fire of inspiration and devoution to duty chosen, or is it? Can one truly be happy in holding a duty not of it's own right to choose upon? Nay, the dragon must hold confidence and honor in his placement within the world, for his eyes are like the northern star, and his body speaks of nothing ill.

The chinese have a saying, a good statue never comes from a bad mold, thus is it that only through inspiration can one make anything beautiful. Think my words merely a mirror showing off to the mirror that you yourself are, thereby making an never ending trail of reflective beauty that goes as far as the eye can see.
In other words: I can only be as honest as your work can let me (flatter is just another way to lie and is it therefore that honesty is never flattery, only itself.
