Sudden usage? It's not like this is the first time I've used characters from the Wario/WarioWare games.
And, yeah, a "Paper Wario" game will NEVER happen. With the backlash Intelligent Systems got from fans from Sticker Star, I have a feeling we won't even see a Paper Mario main series game for years to come.

I didn't even mean from Nintendo.  After the big disappointment that was Sticker Star, I've given up hope that I'll ever get that fantastic papery action I fell in love with from their desk again.  But also from the fans.

It strikes me as a paradoxical thing.  Everyone who's ever played a Mario RPG loved it to bits—the story, the character design, and the art style.  I've never heard a single person say a bad thing about a Mario RPG.  And yet, when Nintendo has begun to fail to deliver on the things they all loved, no one rose up and declared, "Yeah?  Well, we'll make the game we want on our own!"  You're actually one of the first and only people I've ever seen that do any work at all in the Paper Mario art style.  And I can't help but find it puzzling—especially when that sort of thing happens all the time in other fandoms.

Anyway, sorry for going off on a tangent and talking about something completely unrelated to the artwork.  I'll shut up now.

There are dozens of us in the Paper Mario art community, many of which are better and more proactive than me. You must not be looking that hard on here.
