I absolutely Love working on mass collaboration pieces like this-But there comes a point where I honestly start to feel bad for how many times the same image has bombarded every members inbox.

In the past I've tried altering the colors, or adding a border just to mix things up. But with two pieces this large I figured, why not showcase both images, and then highlight the things I was able to contribute, ^u^
All participants were split into two groups, and I was happily placed on character color duty.

First it simply must be said-I was so very impressed by the quality of the linearts I received. The characters poses were strong/dynamic, and the lines were very clear and clean. While working on the images, I felt pritty honored, not only to be coloring some of my favorite SoC characters, but also to be working with the lineart of numerous artists I respect as well.
While it's always hard to guess how the image will fit in a final collaborative piece, it was fun irregardless to try and alter my coloring styles to fit the lineart/drawing style I was presented with.

Also, A special thank you to For drawing and coloring my boi Kel. I kinda sorta freaked out over how hardcore he looked in the forest collab, and how adorable he looked in the fire wall collab. I really loved the diversity of the images, so thank you all for your hard work on him~<3

In closing, here's some fun facts to note from this collaboration-
1. I'm not half bad at shading metal. Seriously, this is not a skill I think I possessed prior to working on these pieces.
2. Scuz has the COOLEST Bowser feet ever. I just luv them.
3. Capes are fun.
4. I still don't know what the little ball under Louka's foot was meant to be-So I colored it to look like the continents of Zion, and made a point of placing Caelius right beneath his boot XDDDDDD
