Why, yes, I am I alive even though it doesn't seem so. I scrape by, in any case.

So, everyone's expecting Mexico to appear sooner or later in the Hetalia universe, as America IS one of the important countries and who wouldn't want to be his good ol' neighor, Mexico, stir up trouble trying to get into his house?

I've seen lots of Mexicos around DA, but never have I seen a female one. I don't know why. Maybe the image of having rowdy, foul mouthed, tequila drinking, hard working men, source of cheap labor, has everyone with a male image of Mexico. However, I think Mexico could very well be female and, if I'm not mistaken, I have read a few important people refer to Mexico as such.

Edit: Forgot to say I made a pretty horrible, anatomical mistake with her hand but didn't realize so until I was already coloring it. By that point I said "Screw it" and didn't correct it. Don't plan to, either.

Just south of the United States of America, Mexico is a friendly country who once possessed vast amounts of territory that ended up in America's house for some reason or the other. Even so, she spends most of her time at his house (much to his distaste, as she keeps climbing the backyard fence, instead of walking through the front door), working at any odd job she can get her hands in to send the money home. Despite this, she adamantly refuses to live at his house, as she likes her own better.

The relationship between these two is complicated at best. The sometimes love each other and they sometimes hate each other. However, Mexico knows just how influential her neighbor is and tries to stay on his good side. (That didn't stop her from pointing guns at his head when he as much as thought of invading her house in the past, though.)

She's one of Spain's many Latin American siblings, and he liked to visit her house very often, until she got fed up of him taking all the goods and food and not letting her participate in her own politics, always telling her what to do and, as such, she had her revolution to kick him out of her house.

Military-speaking, she's probably as useless as Italy, since she has had more internal problems that actual wars against others, which is probably why she doesn't seem to have many bones to pick with others.

She has a great, great wardrobe and can be seen any of her many clothes proudly as well as more actual clothes. She has great variety in her food as well, some of which sometimes get imitated by America - with not such good results...

Her relationship with Spain has healed over the time, thoug she is still a bit sore about it. Similarly, her old frictions with France are very much forgotten until 5 de Mayo comes around and he gets all creepy.

She loves playing football (soccer, not that thing her neighbor insists on calling football) above all sports, though she doesn't seem as good at it like other countries. There are big celebrations at her house when she actually wins a match.
