The Division 1 was the Orion Spur Alliance's first separate unit division, with the same level of customisation as ARC Troopers from the Clone wars and the same role as them the Division 1 units are semi-elitist, meaning that they are very capable but only require standard Commando training to enter. They undergo standard 5 year training but intensified. The Division 1 although usually deployed in squads of six can be deployed as an army or multiple armies if the need be. This was the case with the First Remnant War, First Order war, Second Remnant War and the Ssi-Ruu invasion.

The Division 1 units have armoured gauntlets for extra damage to opponents when engaged in close combat and to protect the hands whilst in ranged combat. The Division 1 units are very dangerous and are the first go-to for special operations, some can fly Spec Ops TIEs but this is rare.
