I had to laugh so much at the title, because that was exactly what happend to me, when I was in the Arena - my paralyzing jiinka blade just decided to take a brake and there I was improvicing the hell out of my little bosmer. xD (Levitate + Bow and Arrow did the trick then)
Stunning piece, love the armor details. And it's amazing what you do on the depth of the picture, love the effects on the background and the katana. <3

Aah, this drawing is quite old... But I definetly enjoyed, and I still do, illustrating Morrowind storyline. I probably should do more of such illustrations 
And levitation spell can really save life when enemy is tough or something nasty is chasing you x) I really missed it in following TES games. Your bosmer was lucky they didn't consider levitating as cheating on the arena

You already have an impressive gallery, so please don't pressure yourself. But I'd love to see more of Morrowind come to life by your hand. It fills the static world with emotions to see artwork like yours. To get in the mood I loved to visit your site, and I'm glad you're still around here on dA. 
In the older TES games are so many useful and fun to play with spells, I really missed in Skyrim later on, yeah. Who needs dragonriding or fasttravel when one can fly as fast as the cliffracer flies? Those scrolls of windwalker were really neat.
Although before I played Morrowind I never used spells as waterwalking in Oblivion... it changes the playstyle more than I imagined to do a playthrough with a single oc.
"Levitation can save lifes" should be imprinted on the armor of my Mer Ceywen. ( Or maybe better on the clothes she got from Mara, since her armor is just filling her inventory, while she's wearing purple gloves and other sassy clothes because "noone bests a bosmer". *cough* ) Really, I think she's one of the "I stumble into a problem - let's just hop backwards, bow drawn, but I'll shoot my arrows and fireballs only when I found a save spot where noone gets me 'cause I always forgot to change into my armor after my midday nap. How about that roof there, that looks quite cozy. And safe!" xD In this scene you illustrated here, she was the first time very close to death. Tough fight, really. (And yes. I forgot to stack my potions - cause Ceywen never ever picks a herb of her own. I only buy potions and ingredients other than that from animals with her and yes, it's horrible and hard and wonderful to roleplay with in Morrowind where there are 1 or 2 healing potions per seller. If there's any. x3 )
So yes. Absolutely. Levitation rules. <3
At the moment I try to avoid the Arena in Oblivion ... but I loved that "quest" in my first playthrough, so I have to find a way for little Ceywen to make her way there. But I heard there are some nice spots out of reach for the enemies to jump on there, too... c: She'll be fine.

I think Dalance gets mistaken for a guy mostly because she has a realistic breastplate. Seriously, boobie cups are stupid and painful.
