Description
Left it big so that you can see all the little details. ^^This was inspired by the fact that I tend to draw in all the margins of my homework and I thought that Megamind might have the same trait.
In fact, this 'commentary on drawing when one is supposed to be doing homework,' was also drawn in the homework sketchbook I'm referring to. *laughs*
Anyway, so here we have Megamind doodling after having been thrown back into prison. ^^ I figure that, given the comic which exists stating that they did, in fact, go to high school together, Megs probably has held some feelings toward the intrepid reporter for a longer length of time than is shown.
And thus this absent-minded fascination has probably appeared and reappeared a time or two between sketches for Robosheep and Rock'em Sock'em Kittens, I bet. *coughs innocently* Minion has pretended not to notice.
Note 1: Anatomy has been exaggerated for my satisfaction. Muahaha. So there.
Note 2: Yeeeeeah, I didn't really have any readily available hand reference for him, meaning that the hand presented...is kind of my hand.
Note 3: It's the details in this that made it fun.
Megamind, Roxanne, and all other related materials belong in the good hands of the individuals at Dreamworks. Yay!

Exactly! I mean, it took me years to even draw something as a present for my roommate. Hmm, not an exact example, but it works. *shrugs*

*belated* Aww, so adorable! I love the idea of Megs doodling Roxanne in the middle of more dastardly pursuits. Like, uh, drawing cute kittens. ;D

*laughs* No worries about the belatedness--it's all good. ^^ And I can definitely see him doing it without realizing. Like one moment he's up to evil scheming, and the next he's all, "how did THAT get there?!" XD

Hehehe, and I especially liked this because I wrote something similar in a fic--although it was more along the lines of a teenage girl's imaginings of future last names. Megs doesn't have a surname, right? So...well, maybe Megamind Ritchi has a nice ring to it... ;D

No, no she's not. It's just the turn of her hip as she's standing at a 3/4 angle. But thank you for asking.

looks like he's drawing a pregnant Roxanne? hee hee hee....
I know in the comic he mentions she hasn't changed her perfume since High School, but I really don't think that's a solid admission to going to HS with her. I know it's tempting to say so. He could be making a little dig.

Weeeeeell, there actually is a comic that exists that has them set in high school together. Albeit a cheese-tastic one. Someone very kindly scanned in a page of it here---> [link] So while the idea is somewhat a stretch of imagination, it does make for some interesting thought processes.
Pregnant? Um, thanks.

I guess you haven't read Breaking Dawn for a graphic depiction of a guy fantasizing about the girl he loves being preggers with his baby, or puppies...

O__O Well, no. I gave Twilight a go to see what all the fuss was about but decided not to pursue the rest of the series. So honestly I haven't really read that far into it. And, well, I know about the obsession with a woman being pregnant, but I honestly don't get it beyond the whole thing of thinking that the mother of his children is lovely and, "glowing." *shrugs* I try not to look into it beyond that. -__-

(and I wasn't going to go into Twi either till a friend almost landed a part with it, so in order to be a supportive friend, I picked it up)

). Although the perspective on the pencil is really, well, off.
Oh, well. *laughs*

The image of Megamind sketching in jail is too adorable >w<

Thank you very much! ^^ I absolutely adored all the little details, I'll admit, although my favorite one is the least noticeable.
I'm really glad that the message came off loud and clear--I wasn't quite sure if people would understand my sense of humor and the half cute/half silly aspect of the image. So it makes me really appreciative the fact that it worked out well.
As for doodling in his cell...he started young, that's all I can say. *laughs* Honestly, my thought on the painted interior of his cell (which everyone discusses offhandedly) is that they had to paint over all of his drawings from over the past years...and that the prison psychologist has an ironic sense of humor. XD

Nice.
By the way...I'm blaming you because of a plot bunny that attacked and I'm trying to fight it off. I ended up writing a drabble but I'm refusing to post it because I don't want to be distracted from my other projects.
It's kind of a next -gen fic crossover with The Incredibles and Megamind (I blame you)...but not dark like my A/I project.

Thank you! ^^ And I can completely see her finding it after their relationship...erm, real relationship, not Bernard-based relationship. Erm. Moving on. Anyway, I can see her finding it and waving it in his face, saying nothing but clearly asking for explanation with her raised eyebrows. As, meanwhile, Megamind blushes a vibrant purple.
