Coolness and thank you. I hope for weather in Fallout 4 as well. I think it would add quite a bit to the experience and it would make sense that even though the world has gone to hell that there would still be some type of environmental dynamics.

I agree. I did like Rage for that aspect, even though I think that the vehicle aspect in the game could have been done in a more realistic way and less arcade like in my opinion. I do agree that vehicles in Fallout would have been a cool option to have as opposed to walking. I think that the game should have also had various types of weather as well. Could add all kinds of dynamics with that.

Weather would be such a neat new aspect in fallout by far! I did love how they added rain in the Honest Hearts DLC in new vegas, I was like "NO F****** WAY!" XD It would have been more neat if they had the 'nuclear winter' the NCR guys were on about XP
Here's hoping they'll add all those in Fallout 4 (or something like Fallout London) XD

The logic behind Fallout lore makes no sense. If you read through what is presented by the writers, developers and studio artists they offer more technological advances than what we have today, up and including alien technology. Yet the implementation of the ideas are never brought forward, rather left to books and lore-based websites. The player can have hovering companions, rolling companions and mechanical ones, yet the idea of vehicles or at the very least mountable animals is far fetched by most players.
People should understand Fallout first.

Fallout IS based on a futuristic Earth with more advanced technology that trumps the technology of today, and it's not just in the online or book lore, ITS IN THE GAME ITSELF! It's already implemented in the fallout series, power armor, plasma and laser weapons, alien technology (from the crashed ship and Mothership Zeta DLC) and let's not forget FREAKING LIBERTY PRIME! (Fallout 3) XD
I agree that mountable animals are quite far fetched, but in case you didn't know, there were already vehicles, usable and non usable in the fallout series. In fallout 3 and new vegas, you have the vertibirds, which in fallout 1, you the main character had to steal the schematics to them from the enclave so the brotherhood of steel can also build them, which is why they have them in fallout 2 and 3. So if you think vehicles (cars, motorbikes) are far fetched, then you must think the BoS are! XP
If they can build vertibirds, then it shouldn't be a problem for them to build cars or motorbikes!
In the Fallout 3 DLC, Operation Anchorage, a simulated version of the Resources War between America and China, and in this war you can see troops wearing the original BoS T-51 Power Armor, Chinese Snipers with stealth suits, and energy weapon tanks, and this was some years before the great war in 2077, the war that caused the events of all the fallout games!
And also in case you didn't know! in fallout 2 and fallout tactics, you can get USABLE vehicles (cars) to travel around quicker and safer across the wasteland. In fallout 2, you get a car by collecting materials for a mechanic who will fix and make a car usable again! So usable vehicles could have still been a great concept if it was officially implemented in fallout 3 and new vegas (not including mods).
Perhaps it's you who should understand the events and lore of the fallout series! XD

Thank you for all of the comments and views. I am a big Fallout fan but the inspiration for this was a short story that I wrote about how the sole survivor of a battle in the tank was watching fallout from the sky after a huge explosion.
I have not finished the game as of yet but find it one of the most addicting games ever!!! I have also started to play Rage, but find it not as satisfying experience as Fallout.

Well the tank that you do fight in fallout 3 just explodes so yeah.But i think this thing is big enough so that the player could go inside it and find something neat.

I remember at one point in Fallout 3 i had a lot of scrap metal and i forgot to give it to walter.Without notecing i walked around with more then 100 pounds of scrap metal LOL XD

i remember at one point i was overencumebered by 200 pounds and walked around megaton for half an hour picking my stuff back up after i droped half of my stuff all over the place because i remembered that i had a house

XD lol in new vegas DLC dead money you have gold and all togethet it,s like 300.000 caps but you can,t take it all.There is some sort of glitch i tried it and it didn,t work for me.That sucked.
