Usually I draw the shape of the fur first, which is apart of the outline (all the sharp edges) I usually give my fur sharp pointy edges, but that's all up to you of course  Then later on I go back in and use the shading tool to sorta just make more wavy lines inside that outline, so that the fur adds on.  I'm not sure if this makes sense.. It's the very best I can explain it. 

 I'm not the best at shading, I just kinda draw it in where ever I think it looks good, nothing accurate at all! Sadly I don't have any tutorials I can lend you but there's a million out there, just  try looking up some It will be more helpful than reading my explanation xD 

Improvement is something that takes so much time. It took me a very long time to get where I am but just don't stop, especially if you're passionate about it, your skills can only get better, never the opposite.

mmm, my drawings have improved a lot, but i know for a fact that drawing in real life with my own pencil, page and fingers, is where my drawing skill is. I could use a drawing tablet though, but i'd prefer not =3, i won't stop either, thanks for reminding me, if i had forgotten that would've woken up the artist inside of me lol. sorry for the late reply i've been playing many other games, and deviant art just flushed away in my history and my memory, i'm just now remembering it. my last drawings were just things i drew for randomness and fun :3. And i'm pretty sure your the one i asked for drawing's tips, right? if not well it's okay xD Thanks for the advice

Not this moment unfortunately ! There are some things I would like to complete first before having to worry about commissions   but I will make a journal about that when I decide to open them
