Description I had loads of fun with this one. I'm irritated at myself though for putting that "thing" under him. Not sure on what I was originally gonna do but still. It detracts from the whole thing.

It kind of makes him look like he's sitting on a platform. I think he'd look strange just floating in the air. To me it makes sense.

Given how you titled this after a special effect, I can't blame you for the loads of fun.

But it can be easy to overdo such flashy stuff, and since this is your first usage, I could say a few tips if you're open to critique.

Other than that, I'm awed by your character design - it's like a mix of canine and koi. I also like the nifty bracelets and armlets too.

Doesn't he? I was gonna add one more set but decided against it. I'm still miffed at myself for putting that circle of color under neath him. I think I was gonna turn it into a glow of some sort but never got around to it.
