Damn I remember I saw this on a bad-art blog (and recognized it) and I thought about telling you and then forgot about it. I still think this looks awesome, even now. Strange to think I've been watching you for 4 years, though. Your art has made such a transformation.

I don't know, I haven't used gimp in years, but I don't remember it begin any better than Paint tool Sai, and I'm more interested in something for post processing images I make in Sai.

haha, you know, it wasn't even supposed to be babs, but somehow the random OC generator in my head made a pony who looks just like her.

Very carefully. I had to use a lot of layers in order to get the lighting right, but really it isn't much different than painting a character onto any other background, it's just the quality of this picture was so poor I had to fake a lot of artifacts.
