Yes this is from HL2, if you are unfamiliar with the game then you probably noticed there is no DOG in the picture. In Half-Life 2 Alyx's (girl on right) pet is a robotic scanner converted, most likely by her father, for her to play with and to be a companion.Anyways this is one of my first vectors of this style that isn't overkill with effects so I can still call it a vector.
Also my first try with grass. Enjoy!

Both, the characters are posed in Garry's Mod and typically I touch them up and cut them out in photoshop, drawing the scene by hand.
