Description
This is for a contest inWe had to draw our 3 favorite Smash Bros. characters. These guys have been my favorites since the very first Smash! We got extra points for including certain things.
- Yoshi is taunting
- Pikachu is holding a star rod
- Pikachu is in his alternate costume
- Crazy Hand is roaming loose in Magicant
- Ness and Pikachu are jumping
Magicant is the best level! I wish they included it in the Wii U version as well as the music on the soundtrack. Ah well.

This is one of my favourites out of the bunch! The art style is cosy and beautiful looking a bit like it was drawn with crayons or othere traditional media ^^ I think every character look very well. You've managed to capture each's characteristic very well The colours you used in the background really makes this piece stand out from the bunch. It looks dreamy ~
Crazy hand is drawn really well here, too!

Thanks so much! I do love the crayon-ish looking style. Sometimes it doesn't work as well with certain images, but I'm really happy with how this came out overall.

This level really should've been on the Wii U as well, I definitely agree. Love the angle here!

Yeah, the second biggest gaffe in Smash Wii U is not having an HD Magicant. The first is not having anything better than Smash Run, like an Adventure Mode worth playing through or something.

Agreed. I got bored of it a lot faster than I thought I would have. The 3DS version is great for trips, but I barely take Hyrule Warriors out of the Wii U these days, haha!

It did seem like the type of game that might not have a lot of staying power without people to constantly play with. Like, now I have absolutely no desire to get it. I think I have to agree with some of the people's fears that the 3DS version would kill Wii U hype, because now I'm just content with the 3DS version. I think that could've been averted with some high end single player content for the console version. Just not to the convoluted degree that is Subspace Emiwhatever.
I mean, it's kind of like Bomberman. The multiplayer is always going to be good, so I feel like they don't have to worry about that so much, balancing and all the details aside. What do you do when you don't have that option, that's the question. Especially when you have so many creative franchises at your disposal, and it just kind of makes Smash Tour feel like a waste. An HD machine that can handle a lot more memory and could surely provide, at the least, an experience of traversing multiple universes, and what do they spend it on? Mario Party - Bare Bones Editions with tiny game boards, and you play as Miis. Yes. Exactly. The reason I play a game that celebrates different franchise favorites is so that I can play as an avatar of myself. : |

Heh, I actually liked subspace emissary. Catching all those baddies like pokemon with the trophy stand kept me busy for hours and hours! I do like the master and crazy orders on the Wii U version, but Smash Tour is really only fun with other people.
Seems to me like they spent more time and resources on the hundreds of trophies and custom abilities in the game instead of playable content. They are nice and all, but they don't keep my attention very long. I understand the point of adding the miis as playable, but I hardly use them. Perhaps other people who aren't as big into the others games outside of Mario will appreciate them more.
Still a fun game, but I am a little disappointed. Especially since I have barely played it at all the past few months.

Naw, I mean... I guess I could've been more clear.
I meant more than Subspace might have been too big for its britches? It didn't help that the worlds felt kind of anti Nintendo, save for maybe the dilapidated zoo and even then that might just be because it reminded me of Mother, and what with Lucas being playable there, I wonder if the intent was also present. The enemies were kind of... generic too. I dunno, it just felt strange.
Hah, I think the customs are kind of a worthy investment, actually. I mean, I don't play with anybody, but they do make Smash Run a bit more fun, too. And then the whole powering up attributes (offense, defense and speed)? I can tell I was a Sega kid growing up, I like my characters to be fast on that board. I need to zip around like Sonic, even if I'm not playing Sonic. Actually, as an experiment, I have a custom Sonic with nothing but top tier speed boosts. And just like the days of Sonic 2's Blast Processing, the camera can't keep up with him. But he's super weak. Really just something to mess with.
And for Miis, I meant the use as player pieces solely in Smash Tour, not the overall. Mii Fighters is a cool idea, I think, but... I dunno, I'm just not sold on the whole idea of Smash Tour, any of it. I mean, I still have to play it, but I can't help but feel the time might've been better spent. Even a Wii U version of Run might've been better with larger or several boards, and custom options ala Kirby Air Ride, because if there's anything Smash Run needs, it's the ability to adjust settings.
Well, at least Kirby and the Rainbow Curse looks interesting, even if I'm not rushing to try that, either.
I don't wanna derail this any further, though.

Ah yes, I do see what you mean. Subspace was pretty large, and I do wish they had added more real Nintendo enemies like they did in Smash Run. They got that right, but you can't play it online. Such a bad move! Even Smash Tour would be more fun online. I suggest you try it at least. It's fun if you want a little bit of random thrown into a game, and it does also force you to at least try out characters you may not have otherwise.
The customs are cool for solo playing for sure. I didn't mean they had no place. It's more that once you have 50+ of a stamp that does almost the same thing give or take a point, it gets a little ridiculous, haha! They probably just randomized it, but still.
We could go on forever with this XD I do like the new smash, but I had hoped for a little more for such hype and a long time in the making. Still a fun game, and I will sink many more hours into it yet.
