Description
Thought it would be fun to do a little character line up with the main crew for the upcoming series "Hatcher!". I wanted to give some brief bios so you guys could know a little bit about the characters and their personalities, since a lot of them are different from their canon appearances. From left to right: Journey, Astro, Killua, Billy, Buttercup, Husky.

Journey: Yes this is my character but there aren't many of my originals in here. This story is more for my favorite characters. She is in the same grade as these champs here which is the 6th grade and is your overall happy-go-lucky girl. That doesn't mean she is a pushover by any means. She is 11 and comes from a family of witches and super heroes, so the pressure to choose which path is challenging. She much rather tune into her neon manipulation she gets from her dad's side since she doesn't take too kindly to witches. Buttercup despises her for reasons. Billy, Astro and Husky respect her, and Kitten may have a thing for her, but sucks at being proactive about it and just pokes fun at her until their middle school years. Overall, she is the compromiser of the group and the last to join.

Astro: Being a new kid at school, Astro comes from a family of his sister and their unstable father. Most of the time, they are in the care of their God father Ochanomizu. He is cheerful from the outside, but is very hard on himself and often insecure. When the squids befriend him, they welcome him with open arms. They don't care he is a robot and find it fascinating. Astro is quick to help others out but sometimes gets himself in trouble doing so. He is also equipped to be the age of 11 but is far more smarter than that, being the top of his class. He is the second to last to join the group.

Killua: Killua is the one who came up with the group name, since it started with him and Billy. He falls under the same age as the previous and goes by the nickname "Kitten". He and Billy happened to meet at a candy store when they were just tiny children. Killua was literally about to fight Billy for the chocolate but Billy didn't put up a fight and let him have it. One thing led to another and the two ended up hanging out more and becoming great friends. Billy soon discovered Killua came from an unstable home himself and noticed bruises, so he urged him to bring his little sister and stay with them. Years later, after some court sessions, Billy's family won the right to Killua and his little sister Alluka, and the two lads became brothers. Killua can use electricity but is still not in complete control of it, and can manipulate his hands like in the anime. Funny fact, he has to wear braces cause of the candy...and has a lisp >w>

Billy: The main protag, the leader of the group. Just as outgoing as he was in the video game, he is equally that here...if not a tad bit more. He and Killua came up with the group and sought out people like them who were picked on. As said previously, he and his family were able to adopt Killua and Alluka and have never looked back since. Billy is 11 as well and has a sense of clairvoyance. He knows when some events will happen before they happen and came sometimes here someone talking to him and leading him in the right direction. He is also really athletic and can keep up with the best of them. He can be reckless a lot of the times and has to have Killua there to keep him in check. Also, he will not eat chicken at all. He will eat everything else but chickens.

Buttercup: Buttercup was the fourth to join the squids. Of course, since she was a girl, both Killua and Husky (who we will meet next paragraph) weren't too fond of that. However, they discovered that not only did she have powers similar to theirs, but could skateboard well. Since the boys themselves are always skating or riding their bikes, they let her hang out with them and eventually warmed up to her. Buttercup is also 11 (surprised at this point?) and has the same powers she had in the original show, even though she has the appearance of the one from ppgz. She is admired by a lot of the kids for her "spunky" attitude and the way she is able to carry herself. She can be reckless too though, but the whole group has her back.

Husky: Husky was the third to join the squids. Unlike the others who come from middle to low class families (not including Killua's past family who was loaded) he comes from a high class and is always pressure to pursue the career path his parents have chosen for him. He was actually planning to run away and that's how he ran into the group, winding up in the ghetto. His family doesn't know he goes to play with the others and was home schooled until they decided he needed to get in touch with the outside world and thus led him to atttending the same middle school as the others. Like in the manga +Anima (if you haven't read it please go read it, it is so good) he can transform into a merman when he makes contact with water. He is actually the only one who is 10, but carries himself as if he is the same age as the others.

These were supposed to be brief...whoops. Next will be the Little squids!
