I eventually sat down on my lazy ass and started to re-do some old references This time it's Rainbow's I love this girl so much She is one of my favourit characters
I'm not completly sure but I think this is the fourth reference she got This time I changed nothing on her c: I'm not completly satisfied with the shadings of her tail but I couldn't do it any better .___. I hope you like it more
It's actually really funny how pictures I worked hours on get 20 faves and this reference has got 71 faves No I'm not complaining but I think it's funny that a reference got so many faves compared to the rest of my pictures Is Rainbow so popular? :'D
Anyway, I also wrote her information again c: Please tell me every mistake you can find in the texts of her personality and her story, it's damn late here and I don't feel like reading it once again I can't find any mistakes anyway

This damon can show itself in three different forms: it can appear as black fog, it can make Rainbow look like a shadow and act through her body or it can show itself completly (this is the most dangerous, but the most uncommon form). As soon as the damon gets active Rainbows eyes turn purple and the rainbow highlight in them disappears

- the damon makes her immortal as long as it lives in her body

Personality

Rainbow is shy and insecure at first and she seems very scared when you met her first. She often doesn't talk much around strangers. If you now her better, Rainbow is often a happy, lovely and kind young mare who always tries to think in positive way. But you may always know her other side if you're one of her friends. She falls into deep depressions from time to time, is sad and can't see any sense in her life. Rainbow has experienced many bad things in her short life and she was blamed for many things. Even though she used to be a completly happy, content, self-confident mare when she was younger she eventually started to believe what people told her, so now she thinks everything is her fault. She has got many strong, justified fears that make her life even harder. Her friends try to chear her up and Rainbow sometimes pretends like it works because she doesn't want them to feel helpless. Of course she regrets that she lies to them so often but her fear to lose them is stronger.
Losing her friends is Rainbow's biggest fear in general. She lost everything she had after the damon had wandered inside her. Her friends and her kids are the most important things in her life and if it was needed she would die for them.
The damon scares her because she knows that it can take control of her body whenever it wants, and it's stong, merciless and could kill everyone and everything around her.
But even though her life is tough she eventually has her good times as well and around her boyfriend Sonny she can forget her problems for at least some hours.

Past

Rainbow was born in a small herd. Her father had died before her birth so she never got to know him. Her mother was a caring young mare and Rainbow was her only child. She grew up like most other foals. Though the wilderness was dangerous her mother always protected Rainbow and gave her as much love as she could. Until one day. Rainbow grew up to a self-confident, pretty mare, but was always told to be kind and reserved. She was three years old when a group of stallions fighted their herd's stallion and won. The herd's stallion died due to his bad injuries, as well as a mare and her foal, but also one of the strangers died. Rainbow and her mother tried to fight the stallions but of course they weren't strong enough. Rainbow was injured and couldn't fight anymore. When the stallions were about to kill her, it happened. A heavily throbbing pain appeared on both sides of her croup and pentagram's started to show up on both sides as if someone was slowly cutting them in her flesh. The bleeding wounds started to glow, black fog appeared around Rainbow. It started to form a silhouette with arms and a head right over Rainbow, who had no control of what happened. In the end the silhouette killed the rest of the strangers and disappeared again.
After this everyone in the herd was scared of Rainbow, even her mother seemed to want distance. Rainbow had no idea what had happened to her, until the healer of the herd told her about the damon. It had chosen her after its previous body had been killed. Rainbow instantly knew that its previous body most have been the stranger's one who had been killed by the herd stallion. The healer explained that Rainbow would have to learn how to take control of it what would be hard as the damon is a creature with an own mind.
Weeks later fur grew over the scars but it wasn't colored like Rainbow's coat, but black. She would carry these black markings her whole life. Because of this fact, the herd called her "Rainbow Star" now. As a result of the herd's fears the lead mare talked to Rainbow's mother who gave her the permission to ban her own daughter. Rainbow was banished some hours later and wasn't allowed to ever return. She knew she could never forgive her mother. She wandered off for many weeks. The damon protect her from every danger like cougars or strangers, but she still wasn't able to contorl it. She joined many herds but was always banned a short time later for being cursed by a damon. Two years passed until she met Lady Rouge whose herd's aim was to find the Key of Souls. Rainbow had herd of this before and promised Lady Rouge to help and protect the herd. In return Lady Rouge promised her that the herd's healer, a mysterious mare called Angel, would help her to control the damon. The herd accepted Rainbow instantly. The young mare found many friends and has now got her hope back that she can live a normal life again one day.
One day she got to know a young stallion called Sonny. They fell in love and eventually became a couple. But Sonny was a shape-shifter. He was born as a human. Rainbow was scared that this would cause trouble between them so she agreed to become a shape-shifter as well and live a second life in the human world together with Sonny. She now commutes between her two worlds even though it's sometimes really hard. As a human Rainbow soon got pregnant by Sonny and gave birth to healthy twins. Now that they are born and also shape-shifters, Rainbow's life isn't easier but she sees a new sense in her life. And apart from that, Sonny and Rainbow have got even more plans for their futur...
