(a general commentary for your pieces could apply to this one: if you had more color range it would feel less phographic - you get away with it though

hey shelley i am looking around your work - very disciplined - do you work mainly from photos or do you work from life as well? I will keep watching - being from the school of thought that says paint it as it comes, it is refreshing to see something mesured and calm. I particularly enjoyed the cemetry scene.

wow. great likeness and all that. i really like what you did with the background. wonderful. i'm a little confused by his right hand, but you often have to bunch your hands up really wierdly to do things on the guitar. cheers.
