Description List of all fire type byte attacks. Will add more later.

Perhaps for Chemical + Fire you should think along the lines of combustion reactions and explosions?

The only problem with that is that I already have Fire/Electric as explosive. I could change it around but not sure what I would change Fire/Electric to.

I wouldn't call it complicated so much as it is in-depth and I like stuff like that.

That's a heck of a lot of attacks to come up with!! I'll try anyway.

Fire Fanatic: Can run around and set fire to any random object and use these as barriers or obstacles to the opponent, as the opponent will get burned if he/she accidentally steps on or bumps into one.

Burning Embers: Can throw burning embers at opponents, but touching the fire causes some damage. Actually, I would place this as the first attack instead of Fire Frenzy, being as how it is more basic.

Stained Glass: Creates a colorful glass dome around the attacker and the opponent, disorienting the opponent with dazzling colors (shining through the glass). Make an attack when they can't see you properly...or something like that.

Window Panes (not PAINS; easy-mix-up, just thought I'd let you know) : Hurl large frame-shaped sheets of glass at opponent. They can jump through if they're small and quick enough, but if they get caught, it'll push them back to the far end of the arena where the collision between glass and wall does the damage and gives the attacker some time to recuperate/charge up for another attack.

Gah, I can't think of any more. I think the reason you may not feel motivated, is because you might never use all these attacks in your comic. Unless you have characters of every type that get into fights, I don't see the actual need to go through and make up 2700 unique attacks. I guess if you want to make an internet-based MMORPG, then you'd need to do all this work, but as it is, it doesn't seem necessary.

I don't want to ruin your motivation, but help you focus it (if indeed you don't need every single type attack after all). Because you'll need to make up 2700 attacks for every other type there is. And that's a lot of work.

I want to ask a question. What happens to the poor Byte on the losing side? What if they get really badly injured? Can they die, or do they go into stasis until you can "heal" them?

Thanks so much for the help. I think I will use all of the attacks you suggested. I really like the stained glass idea. I put the word there because I knew I wanted to incorporate stained glass but couldn't think of an attack to go along with it so I'm really glad you came up with one.

Hehe Window pains was an intentional typo because its going to be painful.

I can see your logic behind how there really isn't a need for such an extensive list of attacks but I just feel I need to design them all. I guess so that it all makes sense in the comic, like I don't want to have a byte in the comic have a really powerful attack when it's only at the byte level.

Well a byte never really dies, it's hp drains to 0 and they lose the battle. The hologram then disappears. A byte owner can then restart their byte and I guess it would just automatically be back to normal.

Ah, an intentional typo. That actually never occurred to me...I guess it was too late in the night for me to connect the dots. -.-'

So the only real drawback of getting badly damaged is that you just lose the fight? Hm.

Well, maybe you could only do 1 attack per tier instead of 4, and just elaborate on them when you need to. That would save you some work, I think.

True, I guess I could just focus on the types of the main character's bytes and then work on the other types when I introduce more characters.

Fire metal would have something to do with Melted metal, like "Molted Splash": They fire melted metal at its opponent, stuff burns on contact and is supper hard to get off. Warning don't get in the eye's

maybe something like a "Steam bomb" for Fire-water, it can be like a Smoke screen...or that could be something for fire-plant.

it would be a defensive move

Smoke screen for wildfire type would work good.

Steam bomb would go best with the steam type(fire and ice) though I'm not too satisfied with that type all together because it's so similar to boil type.

all I can think with Fire/ice, is maybe Freeze brun
