Promised I would make time for my art at least once a week. Going to try and upload every sunday.
Piece I did for 's current contest to create imaginative spiral fractals. Spirals are an extremely common fractal feature so I tried to add my own flair. The brew Julia sets are my favorite spiral formulas so I used two of those and then applied an additional spiral mapping to one and another to the other. Played around with the colour gradient as well to add cold blue tones to the warm theme of the overall image. Hope you like it!
