It's contest time!
I love this kind of challenge and know from past experience other people do too! So it's time for an ABC contest. This one will invite both Writers and Artists to take part.
What is a ABC Contest?
It's a contest where you request a letter and we will give you the word to use as your theme for your writing piece or art. To take part in this contest, comment within this journal which letter you would like. From there I will tell you what the theme is based on that letter.
Rules:
1) Take the theme you have been given and either write a story or draw an art piece involving a pairing of your choice.
2) All writing pieces should be a one shot. (No cap limit)
3) Can use any characters from any TMNT un
My letter was "H" and my theme "Help".
I didn't want to upload this picture in the first place. I wasn't overall happy with it, can't tell you why - maybe you can't see that they're a pair?
Then I drew another one - I wasn't happy with that either XD, so I changed my mind, edited THIS picture again and took it as my entry! XD
Maybe I'm going to upload the other picture (what then ISN'T a contest-entry!)...

This is lovely art in it's own way but to me this is more like brotherly art than love/ pairing art. Leo seems and feels way too 'cool' to have any other warm feelings towards Mikey than brotherhood while Mikey feels a bit more warmer. Maybe this could be a picture before they had their feelings all blooming to each other

This makes me think of the 2k3 episode "Grudge Match" and how Leo was there for Mikey, supporting him unconditionally, helping him, when the rest of the family wanted to tease Mikey. I always loved how those two interacted in that episode. This is beautiful. I love how they are gazing at each other as Leo lends Mikey a hand up.

I love that episode! I think in most verses Leo supports Mikey even when he clearly doesn't deserve it...lol It's pretty sweet! And Mikey usually (not always) sticks up for Leo when Raph or Donnie are pissed at him. Anyway, love both pics you did!

I didn't read you description first but I do like the pic. And I think a lot of what makes M/L is the support and belief that Leo gives Mikey. I think your pic is a good illustration of their pairing in a more symbolic way. Does that make sense?
