This is a preview of my upcoming PsdTuts+ Premium Tutorial that will be released next month.
The steps will all be explained in detail i.e Brushes, Technique, Layering, Effects etc.
Sky, Smoke and Spark textures were from CGTextures.com (application of stock will also be explained in the tutorial!)
Same techniques here.
Photoshop CS5 + 10-15 hours or so.
Airbrush + Texture brushes.
Dodge/Burn and Sharpen/Blur for finishing touches!

Ah, that's the glory of photoshop. The only artistic tool you can use in which you can't remember if it was 10 hours, or 15 hours. Those 5 hours are a mystery to everybody!
