I'm still halfway to nowhereI've been searching all this time
I thought I found the answers
but they were just a state of mind
My heart lead me to a promise
but the hope was just a lie
I saw what appeared to be my path
but I never left this solice
Thoughts of grandeur plagued my mind
but I could never fight the irony of life
Those of less curiousity are halfway to heaven
While I still search for mine

Nice poem. It says a lot. I think we all go through what you're talking about many times in our lives. I do have to agree with Allegius , that line is a bit out of place. Still good though!

hey. I like the poem, but I hope you don't take it too much to heart. It'll all be okay in the end. BUt I do have a suggestion...
but I never left this spot ==> this line is a bit awkward and doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the poem.

dont worry shifty your half way to no where isnt alone im here with you we will find a way out together just fight those feelings untill your happy for yourself not anyone else you think about others too much for your own good (i know from past experiance myself) just think of yourself for once be happy for your self no one else.
