Description In my dreams I always die with you,
Then I wake up, calling out for you

We'll meet someday, someday soon
You'll make a clever joke, and I'll smile
Lost in the moment of brief ecstacy

I'll ask of your life, and I'll tell you of mine
You'll cry tears of joy to find that we're suprisingly similar, yet far enough apart

Days will pass like years...
Eternity isn't long enough

I'll cry because you understand my sorrow
You'll weep because our pain is the same

When you look me in the eyes,
I'll find all the serenity I ever need in your gaze

I need no god, for I have found all the answers in you
You need not fear, for I am always with you

We may never say hello, so this is goodbye

I want to say something, but I'm afraid that whatever I say will ruin the feeling from your poem, jar you from your intensity and hear yearning mood you made. I think I've already said too much, but I want you to know that your poem has reached me, and even if I interperete it differently than you or your soulmate, I appreciate that you have given me this feeling.

Thank you, I'm glad my poetry has spoken to you. I haven't met my soulmate, and probably never will. This poem was really more of a self confession, now that I think about it. I think each person has someone who understands... who understands that one thing about you that you can never explain. Whether I ever meet my soulmate or not, I'm always there with them, just as they always with me, and now I can move on. "We may never say hello, so this is goodbye"

It's so odd, the idea of one who understands that one thing you cannot explain perhaps never being met is at the same time uplifting and a bit depressing, to me at least. It's depressing because you may never know that one person, but in reality, you already know that person inside.
