Description
Another commission for ~mr-balkThis is the Arcarius, a custom 75ton heavy battlemech.
It armament:
2 Streak Short Range Missile 6
1 Long Range Missile 15
1 Rotary Auto Cannon 5
1 Medium Pulse Laser
In the future it will be proven that it is in fact giant mech battles and not global warming that melts polar ice caps

Seriously; I am in love with the effects you managed to pull off on the explosions in the background. It's gorgeous..And I really like the sheen you apply to all of the metal parts in your images.
Really makes the image pop out at you, and makes your coloring style quite defining.

what i woudlnt give for nice good mech series right about now. ^^ or a sci-fi shooter with some mechs in it that last more than 6-12 hours long ^^

Well, no campaigns, but we have MWO and Hawken coming up. Steel Battalion 2 will suck, Armored Core V might be ok, but doesn't look that good.

They're making a new MechWarrior game, MechWarrior Online - not much info is available about it besides it being online only, operating similar to World Of Tanks, and the concept art for some of the mechs.
There's also the Crysis Wars mod, MechWarrior Living Legends.

Shows how lacking most cockpits usually are if everyone keeps bringing up my little cockpit details. They aren't even that hard to put in there

At least you know what people like to see in your mechs! Sure the battlefield looks interesting, and the missiles firing is awesome looking, the battle damage looks cool, but holy cow at the cockpit, it looks like it'd be awesome to be in, halo displays everywhere, or so it looks to me.
