Link's Keyblade!When Ganondorf set himself free from the Sacred Realm, the intense darkness of his heart attracted the relatively new beings known as heartless to Hyrule. The heartless coming to the world weakened the barrier that held it separate from others, and so, when Link retrieved the Master Sword, the light in his heart transformed it into a Keyblade, the Master Key.
