Huh. Sometimes I feel that way about r/WTF, my favorite subreddit. Most of the time there's some good stuff there, but sometimes it's all stuff that would be better suited to someplace like r/mildlyinteresting or r/aww.

It is a self-fulfilling prophecy! You see when you're bored, you're likely to think the things you're looking at are all boring and so when you go to reddit you- AHAHA! Just kidding!

As of now it has around 4500 downvotes. I feel I should celebrate this momentous occasion... going from lurker to that many strangers disliking my work is a Big Deal

I don't have a great fondness for Reddit users. Personally I think there should be no downvotes at all, only upvotes, and there should be a flagging system instead to handle abuse. Also, some sort of age and personality test wouldn't hurt. People there seem to think it's their solemn duty as internet paladins to legislate whose opinion is worth hearing.
