this is really helpful - I for one am not great at drawing expressions. Though I have tried the 'making-the-face-you're-drawing' thing before. My whole family can now tell when I'm drawing Mello from Death Note. xP

I actually never really read it (began reading first book, but changed to Wheel of Time, because my best friend was telling me ALL THE TIME it was just a to awesome series to wait for..) so... I don't really know if its good or not.

woow! O.O so much detail, I never, ever get to fit so much detail in a face. (I'm quite a quick drawer... I don't draw ears, pupils and lips for example. not just because it takes more time (argh laaazy!) but also because I suck at it 
just one thing... do you have some tips about changing perspective? cause its indeed great to change, but when I do... my faces turn to crappy things that don't deserve the name "face"

It helps to use a ball and stick for the face, because if you change the perspective you can still kind of see where the nose and eyes and such should go (according to the frame you drew). And definitely keep practicing at ears/pupils/lips! I super sucked at all of those (and more), you just have to keep drawing them until all the crap is done with and you finally get it...
