You know, most of these drawings simply do remind me of Avatar. Some loke like Aang. Some look like Sokka. I realized that there were certain expressions that are typical for them. Amazing.
(The baldness added something to the Aang expressions XD)

This is way freaking useful. My expressions aren't the worst of the bunch (i think), but it can be easy to forget the components of things we see everyday.
Uh... do you suppose bad acting is a factor?

I think its more of learning to connect with emotions XD If you can feel what your char/ drawing is supposed to be feeling, it is more likely you'll be able to get it down on paper?

Your style reminds me of The Avatar. What's great is that it doesn't focus on beauty of only the face but the expressions and the body language.

Good tutorial. I am impressed, because you definitely convey the emotion of the character with just a few lines. The difference between the first face and third is about as far as the east is from the west.

I was once playing with my face while looking at my reflection on a window on some random car, but the moment some old guy rolled down the window and stared at me with a disgusted look i felt like a complete idiot. so the next time I'm stuck on the face expression, I'm gonna make sure no one is around(If I read your tutorial sooner I would never embarrass the crap out of myself)
