Ha. I love the Eragon one. In my house, if you ever say the word "Eragon" it's followed by a three hour rant about how it's unfair that stupid books make more money. Then for the next few days you'll randomly hear "Paolini!" shouted angrilly from different parts of the house. Waking the baby and scaring the cat. My husband loathes Eragon. Looooaaaathes.

this contains a wide range of emotions, but instead of asking the reader what they notice that makes the emotion come out, it would be easier to work with if you just pointed out what features to enhance or how. I felt like i was taking a test.

Haha, well that was sort of the point... I tend to learn better when I figure out the answer for myself vs having someone tell me directly. That kind of info goes in one ear and out the other, vs actually understanding it.

Well, I've been looking for more in depth techniques on how to place eyes and eyebrows, so I can see how this is helpful for more basic techniques.

XD when i'm drawing facial expressions i usually tend to make the face i'm drawing too
funny thing is its kinda involuntary and i do it if im drawing in public too but nobody seems to notice

Thats good! I'm glad you're actually trying to sketch it out, I feel like half the people who read tutorials (mine or otherwise) don't actually do what the tutorial says... its sort of like reading a math problem and not working it out on your own :\

its earsier for me to absorb information if i apply it quickly and like what i see. Its weird how people dont sketch out what theyre trying to learn, though. How will you apply it of you don't actually use the tips to draw.. wait.. that IS applying it.. um, i hope you kinda get what i mean..

I liked Eragon, but the other books just take up too much time, and are... not satisfactory.
