Description
This would have been so much easier if I had good 3d skills. As it was after producing a very basic wireframe render of a head I had to spend ages in Photoshop pulling in apart... It almost killed my pc as well, too many layers at too hi-res, here's a snapshot at 100%: [link]In other news, I hope everyones having a good Christmas/holiday season etc etc. I'm taking a break for a bit to work on some other projects but I'm sure I'll get bored and knock some crap up in Photoshop at some point.

I have to tell you that this might be the most details and moving peice of work I've seen on this website so far. The details are eye bleeding, and just insane. Absolut 10 out of 10 perfect. Don't change a thing. +fav

Perfect execution buddy.
The way that the explosion is done is just perfect, the scattering of the pieces are done in a skillful and controlled way, not just explode and leave it there. I really like that aspect of it. It's as if the guy is fragile enough and he is getting blown away by a fan in front of his face.
Or hell, it can even be seen vice versa, hense the name coming together. Not exploding apart, but pieces are coming together to form something. I like how it can be seen in both ways.
Really, skill, effort, and great concept in this.
Keep up the great work bro.

Looks good at this size, but the preview of the fullsize really shows how much detail there is in this. The 3d style works quite well for this too. Really nicely composed, the way the broken off areas fade into the clouds, and the way the clouds themselves are brushed in.. good stuff. It makes me think of how it feels when you have so much creativity, so many ideas in your head, but you just can't vent them how you want to. Or that's what I see in this image.
