So Twilight Princess was a really awesome game, but I wasn't at all satisfied with the ending. Midna leaving apparently forever after saying simply "Link....I.....see you later" is just LAME.LAME I TELL YOU!!!!
So I had to remedy the situation with fanart of course. ^_^
I don't know how many of my watchers are Zelda fans, but I hope you enjoy this anyway.

My thoughts though would be Midna give Zelda a hug but give Link a even longer hug and then leave. But I love this even more than my idea of how the ending to T.P should have been.

You're right. Link giving Midna a goodbye kiss before she leftΒ is how it should of ended. It was depressing at the original ending of Twilight Princess

I agree, the ending for TP SUCKED! Why didn't they just break it into pieces again and then give a piece to appointed guardians, so they could put it back together any time they wanted.

Hm, that's not a bad idea!! Or I always thought maybe Link and Midna could stay together (since they're from separate worlds and she's a princess, I've always found it kind of unlikely that they would be able to get married, but they could still meet every once in a while and maybe when Midna was too old to rule the Twilight realm she could break the mirror and then she and Link could decide on a world to end their days in). I'm sure that would have made them more happy, but I guess Midna didn't want any more trouble for Link caused by her world, and she tried to convince herself that the two of them belonged in their separate worlds and that they couldn't "mix light and shadow" anymore even if it hurt to part ways β¦ Anyway, light and shadow belong together but they can never be one.

Zelda was honestly in TP for about 3 scenes lol. There is zero connection between her and Link in this game. It starts Link and Llia and switches to Link and Midna. That aside Skyward Sword is 100 percent Link and Zelda lol.

Yep, exactly! It sort of feels like Zelda wasn't even that important to the plot. Nintendo even joked concerning this game "we had to put Zelda in it, since she's in the title of the series, after all" but I'm starting to wonder if they actually meant it. When I first played this game I expected there to be a lot of Link x Zelda in it, but instead there was a lot of Link x Ilia, and then I became a huge Link x Midna shipper. It's impossible for me to see Link and Zelda's relationship in the game as anything other than platonic, even though I have to admit that they look pretty good together.

The perfect ending for any Zelda game would be Link & ZELDA getting together, not some random one game character who is introduced and basically "killed off" at the end. Midna was a wonderful character, but not enough for her to take Zelda's place in Link's heart.

I agree that Link and Zelda should maybe get together in some future game because people have been expecting it since the start of the series. Not just this one because in TP they have zero chemistry and there has to be chemistry for me to like a pairing. I prefer Link x Midna. Who says Link couldn't be interested in someone other than Zelda in at least some of the games? The incarnations of Link are different people after all, and so are the incarnations of Zelda, so they should have different preferences.

Best. Ending. EVER! 8D FINALLY someone who agree's with me! The ending was so disappointing, even though it made me cry and thats hard to do, i would have much rather had it make me smile....even though if you watch at the end Link leaves Ordon again and dressed in his Hero's garb even after returning the master sword to its grove. Some people think it was him going to search for a way to get into the twilight realm so that he could see Midna again. I like to think so anyway~ 
And btw very well done fanart, I absolutely adore it~ I mean I dont hate Zelink or anything, I just prefer LinkxMidna in this particular game since they had more interaction and their cut scenes together were just way to...couple-y XD How they stare into each others eyes and how Link held her after she broke the barrier around Hyrule castle....and after Midna survives the final battle~
