EDIT: it is worth noting that these do exist as actual coasters! You can go here to buy them: [link]Final project for my licensing class- I designed subversive 18th century toile! Good times. The final collection included various party goods (coasters, cups, plates, napkins, invitations, etc.), but the tile designs showcase the characters and border designs most clearly.
Many thanks to my sister and her friends for their generous input- I never would have looked into period-accurate wine glasses without your encouragement.

Awww this is amazing! It made me laugh out loud. Though is this women based off Mary Robinson? ( Perdita was some what of a stage name for her, since she played a character called Perdita.) No matter who she is still brilliantly down. :3

Yes! Thanks for catching the reference. I love Mary Robinson and Banastre Tarleton and their lot, and Perdita was supposedly witty and such and had affairs... It seemed as good a name as any.

She is one of my favorite women in history too! I'm an actress my self so I feel a certian connection with her. (except I don't have affiars with kings and famous Generals.) Well this is cute and funny! Great job.

Haha! These are hilarious!!! These remind me of a pop-up book I saw in my design class. It was a 19th century style (in the style of an artist, but I can't recall right now something "girls") and naughty things would happen when you pulled tabs and the such.

at an alumn celebration at my alma mater, there was a performer much like the woman in the last frame (a woman wearing victorian garb, with an over sized frock that held drinks that she served to the guests). it was wild!
