I've just realised that, like, almost every one of my full coloured animal-featuring drawings I've posted on here have red or pink backgrounds and red or pink shading. I should get to the cooler colours some time. This picture is darker than the rest though?
A small drawing of my dragon Venus as celebration for getting into groups on DeviantArt for the first time~ And also, because I have yet to actually draw her in anything but the reference. I've decided to scrap the tail weapon for this piece.
Also, tried something new with the background because I didn't like the sky and wanted to cut it out. But I think my efforts in background practicing might be showing!
