Description
January commission forThat's war, baby!
Generic action fighting on post-apocalypse earth/other planet (take your pick).
Vaguely reminiscent of Halo (on purpose) and countless other similar games. Everything more or less my design, I had to simplify a LOT from the armor refs I got since they were insanely complex (otherwise I would *still* be working on this scene and ripping my hair off...).
I do get a nice groove out of it, though.
Not that it's particularly obvious with all that heavy gear on, but the upper guy's name is Youta, and the lower guy is Iteryu.
posted a colored version here (fur affinity link):

I find that when ripping hair out occurs, it's time to put on the wig!
Anywho, good job, considering by the sound of it, the armor was being annoying.

I feel sorry for them, their tails aren't armored at all.

It's a subtle way to tell the soldiers it's not a good idea to face away from the enemy.

Umm, "Howls of War 1, 2 and 3!?"
"LOOK OUT FOR DA BUTCHER!"
"GRIIIINNNND....."
I like the art, looks like the person behind the idea might have something ro run with that could be engaging and interesting if they so choose to write and such.

Since I came up with everything except the two guys inside the armor, I'll take that as a compliment.
Hint: I always give out who came up with a picture concept in the credits, if you're curious.

I looked, and there are no stories, links to stories, or no hmm, I forget the word, I'll ask Wes. There's a term for a book or series of articles that define a setting. Everyone has contributed pieces of that with Biographies and loose information here and there for the setting I write in, I'm limited to the one article on SIREN units.
These two wolves also seem different than the other characters he's developed. They might be fun to wriote about. I just find myself thinking about those two. The problem is, I don't know of I could adapt them into my setting. I have a couple of indirect ideas Juni threw at me a year ago, I think.

Hrm, the Helmet design is a little more reminiscent of Fallout...

I've heard this title elsewhere, a comic or something I think?

There was once "Sgt Fury and his Howling Commandos" at Marvel.
More info: [link]
And the title here *is* a voluntary reference to identify the characters as an elite fighting force. And since both characters are anthros, the "Howling" part is also a wink in that direction.

I actually thought of WW2-era Nick Fury when I read the title. XD
