He looks nice! Almost like an old guy who's sick of all the fighting and just wants to rule in peace. I suppose even the final boss can be an OK guy who's just trying to live his life... and then here come the 'heroes' to knock it all down!

An interesting concept isn't it? I've never really tried to put myself in a bosses shoes, I imagine it's a very exhausting and probably more often than not gut-wrenching life. I'm interested to hear this character's back story, I will have to talk to the commissioner about him. ^_^

I like to think the Final Boss has a life of relative luxury ordering around the mooks, grunts, and minibosses. It's only the heroes and the Big Bad who mess it all up!

The fella who commissioned this one said that's kind of his personality. Forever looking for that hero's death but no one can best him.

The smokey dark effect adds a really good sense of Β somberness and a lonely feeling. Mix that with his expression and it does bring that tone out much more! Good job!
