Vision: My eyes are cought by the cat's very cute eyes! It's like everything is focused on the cat's eyes! really lovely done! 5 stars!
Originality: 5 stars because I really like it that the cat's head is tilted to the right side (for us. For the cat, left side) it gives a really cute look!

I have to say that this picture was wonderfully taken. The colors are light, balancing perfectly with the innocence of the kitten. The color of the eyes really seems to stand out to me. Such a pretty blue, it really captures the viewers attention. The blur of the background really brings the focus onto the kitten. I really like how ever the kitten is a light color. The ways it's eyes are focused on you makes you think that something precious like this would never cause you any trouble. Okay, yeah, I LOVE this picture. I love cats and this just completely melts my heart. It definitely positively impacts any and all animal lovers. As soon as I saw this, my heart stopped and I was all "AAAAWWWWWW!!!!!!" You really captured the cuteness of kittens. It looks so breath takingly innocent and pure. The little paws huddled together on the chest area makes it look vulnerable and scared, and really it should be because it's so small in such a big, big world. And the eyes. I love the eyes. You chose the best cat, because the coloring is just amazing. Puppy eyes? I think not. More like kitten eyes. THOSE are the ones you have to watch for.

In terms of originality, it's a fairly normal shot, but I gave you three stars because I still like it. Having the kitten (Ariel I think you said) tilt her head to the side adds more feeling to the photo than it would have if she was facing the camera head on. I also like that the hand is in the background of the shot. It just give the photo another layer without taking away from the focus of the image.
Techinque, I rate you four and a half stars because I really like the way that you've balanced the colours. They are soft and subtle which I think helps to add a level of warmth and comfort to the picture. It also draws a stark contrast to the kitten's eyes, which are the focus of the shot (to me at leaste.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

uhm im not so sure i agree with the statement about originality.. i have yet to so another picture on this site like this one.. just saying...you should take a look at the exact positioning..

This critique was just my opinion of the shot, and that is yours. When I said that I was just saying that it's not some extravagantly postioned shot. It's pretty straight-forward actually. But, little features like the head-tilt and hand in the background still help to add to the end result. So I gave it 3 stars.
