Description
My husband and I spent last weekend at this charming little 2 room 100 year old cabin. This is one of the many exterior shots that I took.C&C is always welcome and much appreciated!

Hm...interesting shot. I like the fence and the grass, but the background behind the house and its dull colors tend to kill the subject, which of course would be your house. If your background were either stronger or more neutral it would be a very nice, rustic sort of shot, but I think in this case the mundane colors hurt the composition.

It was an attempt at editing. The original was pretty blown out in the trees since I had the wrong settings when I took the shot. It's hard to tell on the view screen what it's going to look like on the computer. Wish I could go back for a 'do over'...lol

ooh some burning and multiply blend modes and layer masking and it could add a really cool lighting effect.... That is a great photo and has some really cool possibilities for a surreal look... You're so lucky I wish I could've stayed in a cute little cabin like that....

This was the first edit. I plan on playing with this one a bit more. I'd love to come up with one of those dark creepy looking edits but I'm still learning so it might take a few tries...lol
