I'm ambivalent about this one.
His pose bothers me. He looks a bit stunned, but also kind of like he doesn't really care. The way his arms are at his side and he's sort of slouching, like a fallen angel is totally uninteresting.
There are two things about this photo that I really like--one compositional and one thematic. Firstly, I like how this is a wide shot. You do so many closeups, and while they're intriguing, I like seeing the occasional increase in scope that wider shots can give. Secondly, the "fallen angel" concept has always appealed to me--I'm a sucker for the proto-myth, and the idea of a "fallen angel" ranks right up there with them. From Prometheus to Lucifer, they really are only guilty of one thing: exposing the imperfection of divinity. I find it ironic that an angel bows to a human for forgiveness, because that just goes to show how messed up the order of life is--normally a human has to bow to an angel. Then again, the proto-myths are usually the same in that regard as well: the angel affects humanity in some way, so they should at least apologise. It's not like we could have stopped them.

I'm pretty much with the majority where I like the scenery, costuming and pose on this one. Though(as Krista said) try to keep your chin up a bit. I think that Alex's expression is just kind of blank, you know, but not in an unforgiving sort of way, kind of like...uh...so...yeah. Other than that I'm pretty impressed by this, good choice of scenery and great positioning of the bodies, it gave the photo more depth

i really like the overall feeling you get from the shot. and how you and alex are both in all black. im looking forward to seeing further fallen angel pictures. just a note, when you bend you neck like that, try not to bring your chin as far to your chest as it is in this one, iif you look closely, it almost creates roll like creases. but meh, thats a minor note. congrats love. i dig it tons, i do i do.
