k first of all for cortney this is the last of these kind of photos love, and i tried this one in colour and it didn't work.ok so yes i am wrapped in duck tape. and yea it hurt like a bitch talking it off, like you can't imagine, lol oh well. also i couldn't breathe. the photo isn't that great but i had this idea in my head and i needed to get it out. so here you go.

Next time if there is a next time. Use a thin layer of cooking oil on your skin (any oil really) that or water. It will come off easer then. Another trick is WD-40 it disolves the adheasive in the tape so you can get it off. There is also stuff they sell that helps take it off you can find more info at [link] about Dtap. That really had to hurt comming off.

I've done this before. Not something you do twice. If I ever find myself wrapped in duct tape again, I'm simply not gonna take it off. Ever.

I gotta give you points just for the duct tape wrapping...when my friends and I went to prom, we like, ALL had dresses that were not bra-friendly--so we came up with the bright idea of using duct tape for the appropriate cleavage...all I can say is, ouch.

I really think you've succeeded in portraying your idea, whatever it may be. It looks quite experimental, like something I should be attempting right now... however, I've converted to Nature Photography for the time being.

maybe if you're doing this kinda thing again in the future... use actual bondage tape... it's probably about the same price as duct tape - mine wasn't very expensive.... it holds REALLY well and it doesn't hurt when you take it off...

wowzers; i agree with someone up there, the x on the mouth, good, but not on the hands. otherwise very great, fun stuff. you can get yourself a fan club with a single post, you know.

ok...love the concept....my only critiques are that I don't really like the x's on your hands...looks good over your mouth though....and the bumps and lines that the tape creates on your body are....odd....maybe shouldn't be wrapped so tightly? But good job

I really admire this picture... Even although you seem to regret certain things that you couldn't achieve, I really think it's saying something about being a young woman - maybe a feeling of overwhelming pressure or shyness? I don't really know what it expresses best, but I certainly like self-portraits, and the acceptance of going through pain to realize an obsessing image... Later! Fab
