This reminds me of a photo on the cover of National Geographic, of an Afghan woman named Sharbat Gula . The pose and sort of haunting eyes strike me as similar. Have you ever seen the photo?

I adore how you're always able to take photographs that are so incredibly soft but the eyes are always so sharp and vivid.

This is one of those photos bursting with color despite being black and white.
