My first attempt at doing this droplet thing everyone seems keen on doing. .... eh it's a first attempt

For a first attempt, I think it turned out quite well:
1) A remarkable amount of the picture is in focus,
2) Yet the frame contains only the water itself: no trace of the setting or setup
3) The aqua gray is a really nice color, very natural for what is probably staged.
So by all means keep experimenting, but I think this looks really nice.

Thank you very much! It was quite an easy set-up, really. I'm sure you'd have equal, if not much better luck doing the same thing. it was kinda fun too! My lens got soaked from residual splashes but all is well.

I think you have better luck with light than I do. I don't think mine would come out with that lovely shade of blue.
