This location looks like it has huge potential when the waves are up to the rocks. What direction do they face?

Well out towards sea is west. It's an area I don't always go to since the tide always seems to be too far in for me to easily wander down there; especially if the dog is with me too. I might venture over here a bit more often, as you said the waves would look good here. I don't think the rocks have been this exposed in a while.
