If you have more than one base color, do you draw them on separate layers or the same one?

That depends on the effect I want to get, and how "editable" I want the painting to be - some commissioners requires it to be.
Usually I have one base color for one character. Like with this oneŁ
It started with four lazers, bg, one color for chara 1, one color for chara 2, sketch.
When I'm going for cellshading art, then every color [hair, skin, clothings, metal etc] gets their own layer, and I use folders to group everything of given character in one place.

Świetny tutek! Z ciekawością prześledziłam wszystkie kroki i chociaż już jakiś czas temu postanowiłam, że idę raczej w cell shading, to jednak taki tutorial zawsze się przyda (człek nie zna dnia ani godziny xD). No i wciąż nie mogę się napatrzeć na ten lód, jest naprawdę fenomenalny
