Aileen ran as fast as she could, and she was quite quick with her short pony legs! But Candle didn’t wanted to give up, he really liked her and he would let her know. Secretly Aileen liked Candle too.. but she wouldn’t give in so easily, she would let him work for it. So, that’s how they ended up like this, Candle trying to catch Aileen, while she keeps acting like she doesn’t want anything to do with Candle.It’ll be ok
refs used for both horses and the bg
coloured the horses with my Derwent Coloursoft pencils and the background with several aquarell pencils, and a wet brush
I'm pretty proud about it, but not so happy with Candle's right hind leg
my dad said I should add some trees, and I told him the dark green stuff in the bg are hills full of trees, but he said it looked like broccoli XD
so I might add some trees, but I first wanted to scan the pic the way it is now

Wow theres so much detail in this! Fabby job on the anatomy and poses. The background is superb! Love all the different shades of green youve used as if to create depth within the picture. Great job

Do more pictuers with background because you are really good at this!
I personally like the white horse better than Candle. I think he could have been blended a bit more. Lovely spots on Aileen.
