Medium: watercolours, black markers, white acrylic and white gel penSize: A4Time: ~14 hoursThis was supposed to be for a competition, but I missed the deadline and didnt really fancy compleating it until now. xD
They are supposed to be sth like underwater twin nymphs.
Man... I srsly have problems with painting light and shadows...

Oh my, this is really awesome, I love it! ^^
The cool colors give this a calm, serene feeling, I feel as though I'm in the depths of the ocean among the both of them. I like your attention to detail, allowing some space for light where their two anglers atop of theirs heads are meeting, very well done. All in all, just fantastic!
Off subject, but I know there seems to be a lot of debate about the origins of humanity, but if we were to assume that we indeed did biologically evolve throughout thousands, maybe even millions of years, I would think that we may have once been a seafaring species within the ocean, and had "Atlantis" like cities/communities at one point, and perhaps we may have looked somewhat similar to the nymphs above^ Which to me makes this piece all the more mysterious, and magical. Afterall we still do have slightly webbed fingers and toes, which indicates we were meant to traverse through water to some degree, and that we have been on land for an extremely long time now!

Im pretty much conviced, that yes, we biologically evolved from some kind of sea creatures, but afterall this is just fantasy in the end.^^
