Yeah, but my computer can't handle millions of polygons so I have to watch my total polygon count or I run out of memory on the render and crash out of my desktop....

How much ram do you have as this is what drivew the render process, i would say the minimum should be 2Gb but you should use at least 4Gb when 3d modeling! ^_^ and good news ram is very cheap! ^_^

I only have 630MB 'usable' Ram (the system actually has more but the onboard nVidia 6100 uses 128MB of it ... ) The system is capable of 4 GB of ram (and has a setting in the BIOS for making it detected all 4 GB, but really I'd probably never put more than 2GB DDR in it anyway..... I would like to get a better better video card since it has the new PCI-e slot for them....

hmm dunno, I know she want's to start a Cafe' after she graduates, specializing in breakfast style foods and then also having live music and poetry like a coffee bar in the late afternoons into the evenings

I'm not allowed to -- she wants to do it herself -- during her senior year of High School she'll have access to AutoDesk AutoCadd Professional series - and she'll know how to use it

but I think that if you use UV mapping or even use a bacon image into the bacon it will look a bit more realistic
anyway that's a nice render

your bacon maybe needs a dash of thickness (i'll not mention the eggs thats been said)

I almost made the bacon 'thicker' but as I don't actually ever cook bacon (as it's REALLY bad for you) I wasn't sure...
I did some more smoothng on the eggs, hopefully it will look better in the next render (which will be a whole shot of the kitchen itself

Well the floor currently is wood (bamboo actually) - but it's not 'tiling' correctly as it's putting lines across the floor... (across the grain-pattern)... so I have to do something to fix it, I'll probably go with some type of tile, just not the one I had before...
